Bolt is a Lightning son, with Tuckeroo Rusty Grandsire on his mother’s side and is our outside line we have bred to use over our Thor and Loki lines.
Bolt has outstanding growth and excellent (wet) fat cover, perfect colour and a great calm temperament.
Bolt was used for a couple of joinings and was Sold at our 2026 On Farm Sale to a Stud in Victoria.
He has some stand out sons coming through already so watch this space!
A son of Tornado out of a Thor Daughter, Hurricane is a big, meaty, wet ram that has great thick bone and a soft hair cover.
He has exceptional length and a very masculine head.
Hurricane Sons and Daughters are growing out nicely, looking forward to selecting a Sire from him.
Bullet is a Son of Odin out of a Winrae Bazooka daughter.
Bullet is an extremely balanced ram with a great Sire head and really safe structure and topline.
Bullet bred a great line of rams sold this year which were really consistent and stylish.
Bullet was Sold at the QLD Region Dorper Sale in 2025 to a QLD Stud.
Rocket is a Loki son out of a Stormy daughter, and is the Sire of Rabbit. Rocket has great balance, loads of meat, a soft cover and perfect colour.
Rocket was a stand out at a young age and has been used extensively in the stud, with International interest gained, we exported Rocket Semen to Argentina.
Rocket has bred exceptionally consistent top quality with both ewe and ram progeny being very even and balanced.
Rocket is still here being used as a Sire.
Black Panther is a Thor son out of an older Winrae ewe that was one of our best breeding ewes.
Black Panthers great length and barrel depth along with his heavy bone was a stand out very early on.
Black Panther has been used extensively in our Stud before being sold at our 2025 On Farm Sale to a new Stud in NSW, with 2 sons in the same sale selling to another prominent NSW Dorper Stud.
Elvis is a Thor son out of Loki’s Dam.
Elvis has an extremely long, wide, deep rump and great length.
We used Elvis over our outside line of ewes.
Elvis was sold at the National Dorper Sale Dubbo in 2024 to a large Dorper Stud in Western Australia.
A son of Amarula Stormy that we bred to have as an out cross, Tornado bred very well for us.
Tornado has great length, a very soft, fat cover with a strong, Sire head and carries plenty of meat all over.
We have retained many of Tornadoes Daughters in the stud.
Tornado was the Top Priced Dorper Ram sold at the National Dorper Sale in Dubbo in 2024.
All of our Sires sold at that Sale were classed Type 5 by a 3 Judge panel, showing our Stud’s consistency and depth of Breeding.
Another Stormy son, Lightning is a half Brother to Tornado.
Carrying exceptional length and depth and showing great balance, Lightning is a very wet ram and has a strong, masculine head with perfect colour.
Lightning is Bolt’s Sire and has bred exceptionally well for us.
Lightning was sold along with Elvis to the same Dorper Stud in Western Australia.
Odin is a Thor son out a Winrae ewe that was Sired by Dell Rango.
Odin is a super long but balanced ram, has a soft cover and an impressive Sire head and bullish neck.
Odin is the Sire of Bullet and we retained many of his daughters in the stud.
Odin was sold at our 2023 on Farm Sale to a Stud in Victoria.
Thor needs little introduction, he is known as the best looking Sire in Australia, according to renowned Australian Dorper Inspector and Judge, Christo Harmse, who has classed him here in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Thor is extremely balanced, heavy boned, has a massive barrel and capacity to carry meat.
Thor is a rare Sire that breeds both top quality ewes and rams equally, with very feminine daughters and masculine sons.
Thor Semen has been sold to several studs in the USA and also Argentina.
Thor has been used extensively in our Stud and is still happily working at 6.5 years old.
Loki is a name synonymous with quality in any Sale ring and is well know for breeding on his huge hindquarters, masculine heads and Sire appeal.
Loki has exceptional depth, bone and meat qualities and a soft wet cover.
Loki is a half brother to Thor and they both are the foundation of our careful line breeding program we have been using here at Winrae for the past 6 years.
Loki has had Semen sent to Argentina and is in the pedigrees of many Dorper Studs in Australia.
Loki is happily working here at 6.5 years old and would rather be out working with ewes than be anywhere else.
